Christmas 2009
Our Misssion family, along with other Rock Point reidence packed the aisles or stood at the back of the church to see our school children singing and performing the Christmas play. The annual Christmas pageant and celebration was held at the Mission's House of Prayer church on December 16th. All grades participated, and there were shepherds, wise men, angels, animals, and lots of cute little sheep.

After the pageant, the community members were invited to the school for some refreshments and to pick up the traditional Quilts that are so popular here. The children received toys and other presents. Over 50 elderly and needy residents also received food boxes.

Thanks to all the wonderful individuals and churches that made this celebration possible. All the quilts were lovingly made by donors, and coats, shoes, toys, and other Christmas presents were sent by people from all over the country. A sincere thanks to the church groups who drove many hours to be with us, and the staff who worked so hard to make the evening a success. |
